When thinking of Provence in the south of French you might think about its warm weather, beautiful villages, colourful landscapes and healthy good food.
But Provence has a lot more to offer than the above. If architecture is your thing, then you will be seriously impressed with all of the Roman architecture throughout Provence. The magnificent Theatre Antique which is still in use for concerts and operas with is state wall still standing is one of the best examples of Roman architecture.
The whole area of Provence is quite laid back and tourists will find plenty to do and see. There are lots of vineyards so if you fancy a spot of wine testing you will be in the right place.
The medieval towns and villages are in the area are just full of atmosphere and the details on the buildings provides a fascinating insight into the craftsmanship of the medieval stonemasons and architects. History lovers will be in their element in this part of France.
Those art lovers amongst you will be spoilt for choice in the region. Painters have been inspired by the landscapes for centuries. Van Gogh would often spend time in St Remy and Arles and this was where he painted some of his most famous paintings. You will be spoilt for choice if you are planning on visiting some art galleries. Or maybe you would like to see some local artisans? This shouldn’t be a problem as throughout the area you will find local artists producing paintings and often selling them in the local markets and art fairs.
If ceramics is your thing then there is a huge variety and choices of different types of ceramics or pottery in the area. Items range from simple tableware in bright provencal colours, to collectors pieces of sculpture. The history of provencal pottery is long and cross-cultural, absorbing influences from throughout the Mediterranean. The region’s earliest inhabitants made primitive vessels for storing, cooking, and serving food. This was a natural development for the country as Southern France has a clay-rich soil, hot sun for baking, and plenty of wood for firing. These days when we think of southern French style Provencal cuisine we think of the morta and pesta, terra cotta cookware and brightly coloured dishes and plates which are still available today.
These days when we think of southern French style Provencal cuisine we think of the morta and pesta, terra cotta cookware and brightly coloured dishes and plates which are still available today.
Whatever your reasons for visiting Provence you are sure to have a lovely time and will be wanting to go back time and time again.

why American foods (like cold cuts & gourmet stuff) are most of the time of LOWER quality than European ones?
and for people here that visited Europe and had a chance to sample their similar products, you surely know what I am talking about !!!
DO U.S. COMPANIES THINK THAT AMERICANS DON’T DESERVE TO EAT JUST AS GOOD ,OR EVEN BETTER THAN EUROPEANS ??
It is better. I had prosciutto in Italy expecting it to be a lot saltier than the kind we get here. It wasn’t. It tasted sweet and balanced, very natural as opposed to the oversalted stuff you get here
Get the Facts: Is this the democracy you want to be living in?

Types of Services Provided
There different types of services provided as below,
Commercial Flights
Commercial flights are the cheapest as they serve on a seat basis opposed to private charter where you charter the entire aircrafts. There only one commercial flight from Kenya to Somalia ,Mogadishu International Airport and daily flights from Kenya,Jomo Kenyatta to Juba and 3 times weekly from Wilson to Rumbek in south sudan. There also commercial flights to Kinshasha,Goma,Rwanda,Burundi,Central Africa Republic but reservations has to be done amonth in advance.
Adhoc Flights(Private Charter Flights)
This is the most convinient and expensive mode of air transport but ideal for bussiness executive and project owners whose scheduled does not match the commercial flights. It more expensive than lease as there is no incentive given irrespective of the flights that you do in any given month. It is advisable for emergency and one on ,one off use but for bulky work use lease hire. The adhoc flight is advantageous us you need not to do any commitment like in lease or contract flying where you will have to committ a number of hours for a period of time and whether you fly or not you will have to pay.
Contract Flights ( Wet Lease or Dry Lease)
This is ideal for organization with bulk work of excess in 60 hours flying in amonth. You can decide to take dry lease on AI rate whereby you will employ your own crew, ddo your own maintenance, fuel, pay landing, navigation, parking and clearance fees and the lessor charges you aircraft and insurance but based on the set operational procedure and with a close check by the lessor.Wet lease is when you take aircraft on ACMI rate(Aircraft,Crew,Maintenance,Insurance) and pay for fuel, landing, crew per diem, accommodation ,meals, laundry, crew change return ticket, validation and work permit for pilots and engineer. The way to go is lease as you have the control of the entire operations and when you fly beyond the guaranteed hours the rate per hour reduces thus giving you a cost reduction advantage opposed to adhoc when this is not considered. With lease you will have the aircraft at your discretion and even if the lessor has to use it,consultations has to be done and agreed upon.
The Fleet
There are aircrafts like C-130 20 toner and the Buffallo 5 toner are suitable for air drops in hunger and war stricken areas with poor transport infrastructure. The Let 410 ,Buffalo,Caravan 208 are suitable to airstrip which are tidy as they have shart take off and landing perfomance. The crew needs to have an extensive experience especially in Airforce and bush flying to be able to cope with this kind of flying as you flying in countries where bombs, shooting is the order of the day and you need to have extra courage.
With all this it has made air transport the key player in Humanitarian & Relief work to unaccesible areas especially remote easier and quicker. With the new technology having introduced and manufactured aircrafts with ddifferent perfomance depending on the area of operation has also put the aviation a step ahead in the bussiness world. Also with the introduction of convertable aircrafts from cargo to passenger has made lives easier and all you have to do plan according take cargo come back with passenger and vise versa.

Geelong is the second largest city in Victoria and is located just 75 km’s south west of the states capital, Melbourne. It is sited on Corio Bay and has a population in excess of 160,000 people.
The first non-aboriginal that sited the area that would later become Geelong was believed to have been Lieutenant John Murray who ‘discovered’ the area in 1802 whilst commanding the Lady Nelson. While unable to enter Corio Bay due to a sandbar Nelson moored the Lady Nelson and sent some of his crew ashore to investigate what the region offered. But it wasn’t until 1836 that three European settlers, David Fisher, James Strachan and George Russell arrived to settle the area was subsequently named ‘Geelong’ in 1837. A name derived from the aboriginal name for the area ‘Jillong’.
It should be noted that in 1803 a convict by the name of William Buckley escaped from incarceration and lived amongst the Wautharong aboriginal people in the Geelong area until 1835 when he surrendered to authorities arriving to survey Geelong. Buckley was eventually pardoned and worked as an interpreter.
During the gold rush of the 1850’s Geelong grew rapidly as it was the most direct route from the port to the goldfields of Ballarat. A number of significant buildings including the Geelong Hospital and Town Hall are a legacy of this time and feature amogst the towns historic heritage.
As the goldfields dried up Geelong’s growth slowed but the town was well established and whilst it was quickly outgrown by Melbourne, Geelong grew into Victoria’s second largest city. In 1902 Geelong began to develop a number of infrastructural industries including its own power station and waterworks. Soon after the Ford Motor Company established a production plant in 1920 as did the Shell Refinery some 16 years later in 1936.
Geelong has continued its growth into a modern and vibrant city and is the 12th largest in Australia.
Geelong’s coastal location on Corio Bay provides many water based attractions such as the impressive foreshore pool, walk and beaches. There are also plenty of fishing, swimming and boating opportunities.
Within Geelong there are highlights which include The Ford Discovery Centre, National Wool Museum, Old Geelong Gaol and the Maritime Museum. There are also a number of historic buildings and points of interest which can be seen during self guided or guided tour. There are also plenty of fine eateries, shops, the carousel which dates back to 1887, Cunningham Pier, The Botanical Gardens, Waterfront walks, Waterfalls and more, all waiting to be discovered.
Throughout the year Geelong hosts a number of annual festivals including music festivals, a Celtic Festival, the Geelong Cup, Cycling events and Air shows. Geelong is also the gateway to the Bellarine Peninsula and the Great Ocean Road which include such iconic Australian attractions as the Twelve Apostles, Bells Beach and Whale watching
Surrounding the Greater Geelong area you will also find a number of convenient day trips to such places as the amazing geological formations of the You Yang’s granite peaks, Werribee Zoo, Brisbane Ranges and the Anakie Gorge.
For wine lovers and ‘foodies’ the Geelong region produces some of the finest varieties and wines in Australia. Throughout Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula you will find a number of cellar doors and complimenting restaurants.
For those that want to enjoy some more active activities during their visit to the Geelong region there are some great bike tracks, surf beaches and surfing lessons, plane and helicopter flights, boat charters, scuba diving trips and amusement parks
Geelong is also home to the Geelong Football Club (“The Cats”) which in 2007 enthused the local community by winning the AFL (Australian Rules Football) Premiership. The club plays many games at its home ground at Kardinia Park in Geelong and is open to both the public and members.
