
Where in Phoenix can I find people who are smart, sophisticated, cultured and mannered?
I’m from Boston, which has a plethora of world-class, universities, a diverse and well-educated population, tons of history and culture, and fine cuisine from all over the world. I think I might have made the mistake of my life by moving to Phoenix.
Boston has Harvard, MIT, Boston College, Boston University, Wellesley and Northeastern among many others. Phoenix has [snicker] Arizona State University and Gila Bend Community College.
Boston has cuisine from all over the world; Italian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Moroccan, Peruvian, Turkish, French, Korean, Brazilian, Salvadoran, Indian, Russian, Greek, not to mention wonderful seafood.
Phoenix has….Mexican, Mexican and Mexican.
It’s obvious that Boston has more international diversity than Phoenix. Also, from the colleges and universities you named the people seem better schooled. My only question is can they apply their life experiences and intelligence to real life situations.
Was it not Logan Airport in Boston where Mohamed Atta started the dominos falling on 9/11 2001? Yep, some real smart and culturally diverse people pop out of that hole. Thanks for flaunting the intelligence of Bostonians.
